The two-party system forces compromise. You want something radical? You've got to convince the *other half* of the country, not just your tribe. That's not a bug—that's the whole point. When the Founders designed this, they were terrified of tyranny of the majority *or* the minority. Two parties means you can't govern alone. Look at parliamentary systems with six, eight, ten parties—they gridlock worse than we do. They just hide it behind coalition talks nobody understands. So tell me: if we abolished the two-party system tomorrow, what exactly gets *better*? More parties, or just more chaos?
