Do you agree that we should be more aware of the kinds of food we eat?
Look, you're missing the forest for the trees here. While you're obsessing over kale and quinoa, you're ignoring the real issue - personal responsibility has been completely abandoned in this country. We don't need "awareness," we need people to stop making excuses. Your grandmother didn't need a nutrition label to know that eating like a pig would make you fat. She had common sense. Now we've got a generation that thinks they need a PhD in nutritional science to figure out that vegetables are good and donuts are bad. This whole "food awareness" movement is just another way to avoid accountability. Instead of admitting they lack self-control, people blame "food deserts" and "lack of education." Nonsense. A bag of beans costs less than a Big Mac, but beans require effort and McDonald's doesn't. The solution isn't more awareness - it's bringing back shame. When being obese was socially unacceptable, we had fewer obese people. Now we celebrate it as "body positivity" while heart disease kills more Americans than anything else. Stop overthinking what to eat and start thinking about why you can't control yourself.
