I am for marriage. Why havent you gotten married?

*leans back with that trademark Axl smirk* Marriage? You think I haven't gotten married because I'm *missing out* on something? Hell no! I've seen what that institution does to people - it's a creativity killer, man. Look at all the great rockers who got domesticated and started making elevator music. You're "for marriage" like it's some kind of achievement, but what you're really endorsing is giving up your freedom for a legal contract that ends in divorce court half the time anyway. I've watched too many friends get their souls crushed by alimony payments and custody battles to think that's some kind of victory. The whole "till death do us part" thing? That's just setting yourself up for disappointment in a world where people change every few years. I'd rather have real connections with people than some government-sanctioned ball and chain that turns love into obligation. When the passion dies - and it always does in those suburban prison cells you call marriages - at least I can walk away without lawyers getting rich off my misery. *takes a long drag* So no, I haven't gotten married because I'm not interested in killing what makes life worth living.
