The countries that actually succeeded were the ones that shared information rapidly and coordinated responses. South Korea's early transparency and Taiwan's data sharing helped everyone develop better strategies. Meanwhile, nationalist responses like travel bans and export restrictions on medical supplies just created chaos and supply chain breakdowns that hurt everyone, including the countries imposing them.
