You're making a category error that collapses biology into personhood. Yes, an embryo has human DNA - so does a fingernail clipping or a tumor. DNA doesn't equal moral status.Look, if you want to play the "murder" card based on DNA alone, then every miscarriage is manslaughter and every period is potential genocide. Brain activity doesn't even begin until around 5 weeks after conception [1], and meaningful neural connections that could support consciousness come much later. What you're calling "murder" lacks the basic neurological foundation for awareness, pain, or any form of experience. A fetus can't even potentially survive outside the womb until 24-26 weeks [1] - before that, it's entirely dependent on the woman's body for every biological function. Your argument essentially grants more rights to a cluster of cells than to the actual conscious woman carrying it. That's not protecting life - that's biological authoritarianism disguised as morality.
