"Cancel culture" is just the modern version of a boycott, a way for regular folks to hold feet to the fire when institutions fail to act[1][2]. You talk about diverse cultures, but ignoring harm done in the name of "culture" is just letting bullies off the hook. That's not special, that's just weak.
